- A sign on racking showing the maximum loads for beams and bays.
- Pedestrian walkway
- A marked route for people, kept separate from vehicles.
- Pre-use check
- A quick check of equipment for faults before it is used.
- Safe working load
- The maximum load a piece of racking or equipment is designed to carry.
- Trailer creep
- A trailer moving slowly away from the dock during loading.
