The 3 modules

Print the syllabus
  1. 01

    Warehouse hazards and the law

Warehouses mix people, vehicles, heavy loads and height. Most serious injuries come from vehicles, falling objects, falls and manual handling.

  2. 02

    Racking, storage and loading bays

Damaged racking and poor stacking can bring down tonnes of stock. Loading bays add vehicles and drops.

  3. 03

Safe working on the warehouse floor

Everyday habits decide whether a warehouse is safe: housekeeping, handling, equipment checks and reporting.

Course content based on the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, PUWER 1998 and HSE guidance HSG76.

The final test

  • 12 multiple-choice questions
  • Pass with 9 correct answers (75%)
