- Compatibility
- Different PPE items working together without reducing each other's protection.
- Face fit test
- A test to check a tight-fitting mask or respirator seals on the wearer's face.
- FFP3
- Ratings for disposable filtering masks; FFP3 gives the highest protection of the two.
- Hierarchy of control
- The order of controls: eliminate, substitute, engineering, administrative, then PPE.
- PPE
- Equipment worn or held to protect against a health or safety risk at work.
