Loud noise at work can cause permanent hearing loss and tinnitus. The damage builds up slowly and cannot be reversed.

Controlling noise
The best way to protect hearing is to reduce the noise itself. Hearing protection is the last line of defence.

Using hearing protection
Hearing protection only works if it is the right type, fits and is worn the whole time in noise.
