The 3 modules

  1. 01

What Natasha's Law is and what counts as PPDS

Since 1 October 2021, food that a business packs itself and sells from the same place must carry a full ingredients label.

  2. 02

    Writing a correct PPDS label

A good label is complete, accurate and easy to read. This module walks through each part.

  3. 03

    Keeping labels right every day

Most labelling mistakes happen when something changes: a new supplier, a recipe tweak or a busy morning.

Course content based on the Food Information Regulations 2014 of the four UK nations as amended by Natasha's Law, and guidance from the Food Standards Agency.

The final test

  • 15 multiple-choice questions
  • Pass with 11 correct answers (73%)
